Fulvio Conti was born in Rome in 1947. After obtaining a degree in Economics and Commerce, he began his career in 1969 at the Mobil Group. In 1991, he became the Director of Administration, Finance, and Control in Europe for the American company Campbell. He held the same position at Montecatini, and later at Montedison-Compart. Since 1996, Fulvio Conti has been working for Ferrovie dello Stato as General Director and Chief Financial Officer. In 1998, he joined Telecom Italia. The following year, he became the Chief Financial Officer of Enel. From 2005, he became the CEO and General Director. In 2012, he was elected Vice President of Confindustria. From 2018 to 2019, he served as President of TIM.
