Biography

Born in Isernia in 1971, he graduated cum laude from the University of Pisa in Mechanical Engineering. From 1995 to 2005, Luca Desiata gained professional experience with the International Finance Corporation in the Balkans, Bain, Accenture, and Procter & Gamble. From 2006 to 2016, he held various roles at ENEL: Country Manager in France & Belgium and Head of European Regulatory & Antitrust, Head of Nuclear Engineering within the Enel-Edf Joint Venture, and Head of Nuclear Development within the Italian nuclear program. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Sviluppo Nucleare Italia, JV Enel-Edf for the construction of 4 EPR reactors. Luca Desiata has an excellent command of English, French, and Spanish, and a good knowledge of the Serbian language.
