Biography

Fabio Lazzerini, born in 1964, holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, and is the former CEO of ITA Airways. Lazzerini began his professional career at Digital Equipment Italia and in 1998 joined Autodesk as the General Manager for Italy, Greece, and Cyprus. In 2003, he was appointed CEO and General Manager of Neopost Italia, a French multinational leading the market in mail automation solutions and logistics systems. In February 2006, he joined Amadeus Italia, a leader in global distribution and technology provision for the travel and tourism industry, as CEO and General Manager. Since July 2013, he has served as General Manager for Italy at Emirates. In June 2020, Lazzerini was appointed CEO and General Manager of ITA Airways, a role that concluded in July 2023. In 2024, he entered the digital technology sector as CEO of Comtel and launched the ambitious development project outlined in the three-year Industrial Plan 2024-2026, with the first milestone being the listing on Euronext Growth Milan on February 19, 2025.
