Banker and Business Executive, Gaetano Miccichè has been a banking executive since the 1970s and, after obtaining an MBA from Bocconi University, continued his career in the industrial sector, holding top positions in publicly traded companies with the goal of resolving significant crises through the safeguarding of companies, managing to defend their economic values and employment levels. At Intesa Sanpaolo since 2002, he has led the relaunch of important Italian industrial groups, resolving significant financial crises, such as those of FIAT, Edison, Impregilo, Piaggio, Prada, and Alitalia.
Currently, Gaetano Miccichè is the Chairman of the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of the Intesa Sanpaolo group and President of Engineering Ingegneria Informatica. He is a Board Member of NEVA SGR SpA, a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of Neuberger Berman/NB Renaissance Partners Ltd, and of the Strategic Advisory Board of Nextalia SGR SpA. In 2013, he was appointed Knight of Labor by the President of the Republic.
