Third-quarter results boost the November Top Manager Reputation. Pier Silvio Berlusconi (87.92) returns to first place, thanks to MFE's results, which doubled its profit in the nine months. Andrea Orcel (87.40) also climbs two places, as the EU could reopen the banking game with the Golden Power proceedings against Italy, which halted UniCredit's takeover of BPM. The bank beat expectations with a net profit of €2.6 billion in the third quarter and a net profit of €8.7 billion for the nine months (+13%). Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi (87.35) is in third place, strengthening his alliance with Petronas for Asian gas, closing the third quarter above expectations, and celebrating 30 years of listing on the NYSE.
A2A CEO Renato Mazzoncini (86.64) is fourth, updating his business plan to 2025 with €23 billion in investments. Intesa Sanpaolo CEO Carlo Messina (86.01) is fifth, also closing the first nine months with a profit of €7.6 billion (+6%) and receiving the European Banker of the Year 2024 award. Poste Italiane CEO Matteo Del Fante (80.75) is sixth, rising four points, celebrating the 150th anniversary of postal savings and the 10th anniversary of its stock market listing with CDP and President Mattarella. Alessandro Benetton (80.39) remains seventh, while FS CEO Stefano Donnarumma (78.75) is eighth, rising one point, strategically eyeing high-speed rail in Germany. Urbano Cairo (78.73) and Luca de Meo (78.24) round out the top 10.
Enel CEO Flavio Cattaneo (73.54) is up one place in eleventh place, marking an all-time high on the stock market, with a 50% jump since the beginning of his term in 2023. Terna CEO Giuseppina Di Foggia (73.50) also rises one place, closing the nine months with growth and investments of over 2 billion. Iren Chairman Luca Dal Fabbro (72.52) is up two places in thirteenth place, with growing results and investments exceeding one billion, most of which are in sustainability. They are followed by Pierroberto Folgiero (72.37), Cristina Scocchia (71.13), Pietro Labriola (70.73), and Gian Maria Mossa (70.46). Marina Berlusconi (69.79) climbs two places to eighteenth place, while Giuseppe Castagna (66.93) remains in nineteenth place. Roberto Cingolani (66.14), CEO of Leonardo, who, with Airbus and Thales, creates a European space giant with a revenue of €6.5 billion and 25,000 employees, climbs four places to twentieth place.
