Descalzi and Del Fante win a golden semester. Scocchia leaps ahead

In August, a transition month, content dropped by 23%. Managers with excellent half-year results and those who closed strategic deals stand out.

Pier Silvio Berlusconi (85.95) retains first place in Top Manager Reputation (www.topmanagers.it), having conquered Prosiebensat and created a new group with 300 million viewers. Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi (85.85) remains stable in second place, with profits exceeding €2.5 billion for the half-year. Carlo Messina (85.29) remains third, beating forecasts with Intesa Sanpaolo's half-year net profit at €5.2 billion.

Andrea Orcel (84.27) climbs to fourth place, leading Unicredit to exceed €100 billion in market capitalization, having achieved a record half-year and aiming to further increase its position in Commerzbank. A2A CEO Renato Mazzoncini (79.91) is fifth. Poste Italiane CEO Matteo Del Fante (79.55) is sixth and up by four, thanks to 14% profit growth, driven by financial services and Bancoposta. Luca de Meo (79.40), soon to lead Kering, is seventh, while Urbano Cairo (76.99) remains eighth, followed by Alessandro Benetton (76.97). FS CEO Stefano Donnarumma (73.53) is up one spot to tenth, bringing half-year revenue to €8.2 billion, up from 2024.

In eleventh place, Cristina Scocchia (69.98), CEO of Illy, is up by three, posting growth in results despite rising raw material prices. Terna CEO Giuseppina Di Foggia (69.72) remains stable at number 12, while Fincantieri CEO Pierroberto Folgiero (69.70) rises two places to number 13, showing growing figures, continuing the stock market rally, and announcing a new business plan for the end of the year: defense is the priority. Iren Chairman Luca Dal Fabbro (69.28) rises two places to number 14, and Enel CEO Flavio Cattaneo (69.18) gains three places to number 15 with a growth in the half-year.

BPM CEO Giuseppe Castagna (69.08) rises six places to number 16, having strengthened his leadership in these challenging months. Rounding out the top 20 are Pietro Labriola (67.86), Gian Maria Mossa (67.80), Brunello Cucinelli (67.35), and Francesco Milleri (66.28).

On the rise: Roberto Cingolani (22nd, +6), Luigi Lovaglio (24th, +15) relaunching on Mediobanca, Stephan Winkelmann (35th, +10), Claudio Andrea Gemme (50th, +16), and Inter President Giuseppe Marotta (73rd, +11).
