Siemens Italy is the Italian branch of Siemens AG, a German multinational founded in 1847, active in the fields of technology, mobility, and services, with its main headquarters in Munich.

The Italian history of the company began in 1899. In Italy, Siemens focuses its business on industry, infrastructure, and mobility; with its main headquarters in Milan, it is widely present throughout the territory with branches and commercial offices distributed across the country. It has centers of competence in electric mobility and smart grid solutions, industrial software, and intelligent building management, as well as a Digital Enterprise Experience Center.

Siemens AG has approximately 385,000 employees worldwide and in 2019 recorded a revenue of 86.849 billion euros. The Siemens stock (SIE) is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and, from March 12, 2001, to January 2014, it was also listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

It is a member of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
