Kering S.A. is an international luxury goods group headquartered in Paris. It owns brands such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo, Qeelin, and Ginori 1735, as well as Kering Eyewear and Kering Beauté. Kering has been listed on the Euronext Paris stock exchange since 1988 and has been a component of the CAC 40 index since 1995.
The company was founded in 1963 and operated in the wood retail sector. In the 1990s, it transitioned into retail, marked by the company's name change: Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, or PPR. Over the following decade, the group entered the luxury goods sector through several acquisitions, becoming one of the leading luxury groups today.
