Pietro Colucci

Pietro Colucci is the Chairman of Haiki Metals, division of the Haiki+ Group dedicated to the production of lead and lead alloys from the recycling of end-of-life batteries.

Born in 1960, Pietro Colucci graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Naples Federico II. He began his career in 1982 when he took the helm of his family's business, operating in the environmental services sector, driving its evolution toward waste valorization and green energy production. Following the acquisition of the Italian division of Waste Management Inc., he founded the Unendo Group in 2000, serving as its CEO until 2009 and remaining a shareholder until 2011. In 2002, he expanded the business into the renewable energy sector, particularly wind power, leading to the creation of the subsidiary Unendo Energia in 2004. From 2006 to 2011, he served as Chairman of Assoambiente (the Italian Environmental Services and Circular Economy Association). In 2008, he led the acquisition of the Schiapparelli 1824 S.p.A. Group (later renamed Kinexia) and its subsequent stock exchange listing. In 2011, he founded the Sostenya Group, serving as its Chairman and CEO until 2024. Under his leadership, Kinexia acquired a 71% controlling stake in Innovatec, launching the "Smart Project" dedicated to energy efficiency and the development of technologies for Smart Grids, Smart Cities, and Smart Homes.

Together with a former Italian Minister of the Environment, Pietro Colucci co-founded the Foundation for Sustainable Development and authored an essay on environmental and sustainability issues. He has served as a member of the Presidential Committee and the Executive Presidential Committee of the magazine "Management delle utilities". In the past, he was a Board Member of the Energy Group of Assolombarda (the largest territorial association of the entrepreneurial system in Italy). A promoter of the Manifesto for the Sustainable Development of Italy – signed by all national associations in the Green Economy sector – he has held the position of Chairman of Haiki Metals since 2025.
