Biography

Born in Rome in 1969, Lorenzo Mattioli is the President of ANIP Confindustria (National Association of Cleaning and Integrated Services) and of Confindustria Servizi HCFS (Hygiene, Cleaning and Facility Services). An internationally recognized manager, he currently also serves as the Italian Principal Business Strategy Developer for ITT Holding, a company specialized in the automotive sector, as well as the Chairman of the Board of Sicuritalia Multiservice. After obtaining a degree in Architecture and a first experience as an architect, he began working for the Ciarrapico Group, dealing with the management and maintenance of properties and private clinics. In 2001, he became President of the Ciarrapico Editorial Group. From 2005 to 2007, as Head of the Italian Branch for an international Investment Bank, Lorenzo Mattioli subsequently established himself in the Facility Management sector, becoming one of the leading experts not only in Italy but also in the field, taking on roles of increasing responsibility within ANIP Confindustria, the trade association that represents and protects multi-service companies providing cleaning services at the national and community level. He led the association's membership in Confindustria in 2015. Appointed as President of the EFCI - European Cleaning and Facility Services Industry, he will take over from Juan Díez de los Ríos starting in 2022.
