Giovanni Malagò, born in Rome on March 13, 1959, is an entrepreneur, sports manager, and former Italian five-a-side football player. President of the CONI since February 2013, he is also a member of the International Olympic Committee. For years, he has also worked in the banking and financial sector.
The Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) is the governing body of sports in Italy. The organization, founded in 1914 as a private entity, is now the coordinating organization of Italian sports federations and a non-economic public entity under the supervision of the Presidency of the Council.
