Born on August 2, 1953, in Castiglione delle Stiviere, in the province of Mantova, he has shown a strong inclination for practical work from a young age. Starting as a worker in the family business specializing in excavators, he immediately demonstrates an innate entrepreneurial intuition that drives him to explore new horizons. Driven by his innovative vision, Alfredo Moratti founded Amica Chips in 1990, marking the beginning of an adventure in the food world. The product rapidly gained space in ESSELUNGA supermarkets, thus facilitating large-scale distribution.

In the following years, his vision further expanded with the acquisition of already established snack brands, such as DORITA in 1994, followed by PANDAL and MIA. These initiatives consolidated Amica Chips' presence in the Italian market, making it a benchmark not only for product quality but also for the family-oriented approach that characterizes every aspect of the business.

The value of family has always been at the center of Alfredo Moratti's philosophy. With the entry of his children Laura and Oscar, and later his wife Luisa and son-in-law Nicola, Amica Chips has confirmed itself as a family-run business. In the 2000s, the entrepreneur looked to the future with ambition, investing in the expansion of the production site and building a state-of-the-art centralized warehouse. These investments strengthened the company's infrastructure, paving the way for generational transition. The younger children, Leonardo and Marina, along with grandchildren Francesco and Vittoria, have been involved to face future challenges with the same passion and dedication.

In 2015, Amica Chips celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special event that opened the company's doors to employees, families, and friends. This celebration marked a significant moment, not only to remember the past but also to project the company towards an even more promising future.
