Terna - National Electric Grid is an Italian company operating the electricity transmission networks, listed on the FTSE MIB index of the Italian Stock Exchange.
Through Terna, Rete Italia manages the Italian national transmission network with 74,910 km of high-voltage power lines. It is the first independent network operator in Europe and one of the main operators in the world for kilometers of lines managed.
