Geox

Geox is an Italian company specialized in the casual footwear and clothing sector, founded in 1995 by entrepreneur Mario Moretti Polegato.

Geox has ranked first in Italy and second in the world for the number of items sold in the lifestyle-casual footwear sector. In 2021 and 2022, it received recognition as the best footwear brand. It holds more than 50 patents, mostly for rubber, leather, sports, and amphibious shoes that allow for breathability through microholes, preventing water from passing through with a membrane. It has also filed a patent for the breathability of clothing through ventilators, also preventing water from passing through with a membrane.

Although its administrative headquarters is located in Montebelluna (Treviso), Geox primarily produces its shoes outside of Italy and distributes its products through a network of stores spread around the world (about 1000 in 2020).

Since December 2004, it has been listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, where it is included in the FTSE Italia Small Cap index.
