Angelini Pharma

Angelini Pharma is the pharmaceutical division of the Angelini Group, an Italian multinational founded in Ancona in 1919 by Francesco Angelini. The group as a whole operates in the health and wellness sector in pharmaceuticals and consumer goods, as well as in mechanics, winemaking, and perfumes. Its headquarters are located in Rome at Viale Amelia, 70.

In Italy and Europe, the Angelini Pharma branch is one of the top players in the pharmaceutical and health sector and ranks among the leading companies in terms of sales volume thanks to market-leading brands such as Tachipirina and Amuchina. Over the decades, the company has grown to employ around 1500 collaborators in Italy, with national revenue accounting for over 50% of the global total, which was around one billion euros in 2020.

The company has three production facilities in Italy: the site in Ancona and those in Aprilia (Latina) for raw materials, and Casella (Genoa) for the production of the Amuchina line. Abroad, there are two other significant plants: in Barcelona, where dietary supplements such as Pastillas Juanola are produced, and Albany, Georgia (USA), a global supplier for ThermaCare acquired by the company in March 2020.
